Scouts (Ages 10½–14) – Skills for Life, Friendships Forever
Scouts at 1st Whetstone is where young people really get to push boundaries, discover their strengths, and enjoy true adventure. For 10½–14 year olds, it’s about building skills for life while having an amazing time with friends.
What Do Scouts Do?
Scouts get stuck into a mix of hands-on activities and outdoor adventures. Think climbing, kayaking, survival skills, camping under canvas, and learning how to navigate by the stars. We also take part in community projects, international camps, and exciting challenges that bring out the very best in every young person.
Scouts are encouraged to work together as a team, try leadership roles, and gain confidence that will last a lifetime.
