Being part of the 1st Whetstone Scout Group is all about fun, friendship, and adventure! Whether you’re a Beaver, Cub, or Scout, there’s always something exciting going on — and we’d love you to join us!
Each week, we do loads of brilliant activities. From building fires and learning how to cook outdoors, to trying archery, hiking through the woods, and even going on camp under the stars – there’s never a dull moment. You’ll make new friends, learn cool skills, and take part in challenges that help you become more confident and independent.
It’s not all mud and maps either – we do games, crafts, team-building, and even help out in the community. Best of all, we always have loads of laughs while we’re doing it!
And grown-ups, we need you too! Whether you can spare an hour a week or just help every now and then, volunteering with Scouts is incredibly rewarding. You don’t need to have any experience – just a sense of fun and a willingness to get stuck in! You’ll make friends, learn new skills, and make a big difference to young people’s lives.
